This November, Girls in Tech Gibraltar will be holding our first ever Hacking for Humanity event.

This is a big one. Hacking for Humanity is a global Girls in Tech initiative and chapters from around the world have either recently run their event, or will be running it within the next few weeks. The concept is simple: bring together creative and technical people to help solve social problems within their community over the course of a two-day event.

We are calling on women and men who are developers, designers, marketers, entrepreneurs, product developers, producers and UX’ers to register. Teams are built on a variety of skill sets and all interested individuals are welcome to register.

No team? No problem! There will be opportunities to network and connect with like-minded hackers before the hacking begins. Form a team, solve a problem and present it to the audience to win prizes!

The hackathon will be held at Supernatural in the World Trade Centre. We will meet on the evening of the 17th November and the hack will begin on the morning of the 18th. The event will include:

  • Prizes and giveaways
  • Breakout sessions
  • Industry leading speakers and judges
  • Food and beverages
  • Networking opportunities

Join us for an opportunity to grow, have fun, make new friends  and start your journey as a leading force of social change. Register now!

  • Hi, Can you let me know if there are still places on the Hakathon for this weekend as it looks like the registration is closed online
